El domingo anterior, l@s chic@s empezaron a trabajar en ideas para su obra de títeres. Ahora que ya casi tod@s han creado su propio títere de papel-maché, es el momento de empezar a trabajar en la historia que quieren contar y los valores que quieren destacar.
Algunas ideas que pueden terminar fructificando en la obra vinieron gracias a la presentación de una de las madres, quien les habló durante la merienda de la Copa Mundial de Fútbol Callejero, un evento en el que participan personas de todo el mundo que están en situación de pobreza y viven en la calle. La versión más reciente de este interesante evento tomó lugar en el zócalo de la Ciudad de México, con Chile coronándose campeón en la categoría masculina, y el anfitrión, México, en la categoría femenina. Después de la informativa y también abundante merienda, cortesía de dos de las familias de nuestr@s chic@s, y aprovechando el buen tiempo, l@s más pequeñ@s salieron a jugar. Las chicas más grandes, mientras tanto, aprovecharon para documentar, filmando y haciendo entrevistas a l@s excepcionales jugador@s. Fue un rato lleno de juegos con y sin pelota, del que salieron tod@s energizad@s y felices.

Last Sunday, the kids started brainstorming some ideas for their puppet show. Now that most of them have created their paper-mache puppets, it is time to start working on the story they are going to tell with them and the values they want to emphasize.
Some ideas that may end up becoming part of their story came thanks to the presentation made by one of the mothers, who during snack time shared with them some information, pictures and videos from the Homeless World Cup, an event in which homeless people from around the globe participate. The most recent version of this interesting event took place in Mexico City's central square ("el zócalo") with Chile winning the men's cup and the host, Mexico, keeping the women's cup. After this informative and abundant snack, courtesy of two of the families of the kids, and taking advantage of the nice weather, the smaller ones went out to play. The older kids, in the meantime, were filming and interviewing the exceptional players. It was a time full of games with and without a ball, from which all emerged energized and happy.
