L@s niñ@s presentaron su obra de títeres en la cual mostraron sus muñecos bonitos, saludaron a la audiencia, hicieron su porra del equipo Círculo Juvenil de Cultura, y bailaron la Waka Waka- todo con las camisetas que hicieron puestas. ¡Terminamos la obra con todos l@s niñ@s, padres, voluntari@s, y maestr@s bailando junt@s!
Después disfrutamos unas presentaciones muy bien hechas e informativas de l@s niñ@s más grandes del grupo. Presentaron fotos con comentarios y una serie de videos cortos con entrevistas incluidas para demostrar a sus padres cómo han documentado el proceso de todo el taller.
Cada niño recibió su medalla de participación en el taller y agradecimos a tod@s las familias, asistentes, y maestras que han colaborado para hacer posible el taller de fútbol este año.
Para terminar el evento, compartimos una merienda y los que querían, fueron afuera para jugar un partido entre l@s niñ@s y los padres. Antes de que viniera la lluvia, los dos equipos iban metiendo muchos goles y disfrutando el fútbol y su capacidad de darnos una alegría compartida.

The Fall 2012 workshop ended this past Sunday with a wonderful family event. For the "good-bye" session, the children came with their parents to celebrate all that we have done and created in these past 10 weeks.
The children presented their puppet show in which they showed off their beautiful puppets, introduced themselves to the audience, did their own Círculo Juvenil de Cultura team cheer, and danced the Waka Waka- all with their own hand-made shirts on. We finished the show with all the kids, parents, volunteers, and teachers dancing together!
Afterwards we enjoyed a few very well-done and informative presentations from the oldest kids of the group. They presented a collection of photos with commentary and a series of short videos with interviews included to demonstrate to the parents how they have documented the events of the workshop.
Every child received a medal of participation in the workshop and we gave thanks to all the families, assistants, and teachers that have collaborated to make this year's soccer workshop possible.
To end the event, we shared a bite to eat and those who wanted to went outside for a Kids vs. Parents soccer game. Before the rain chased us off, the two teams scored a bunch of goals and fully enjoyed the game and its ability to give us a shared joy.
