Vejigantes @ Carnegie Hall

Los famosos vejigantes creados por l@s chic@s durante el taller de Carnaval esta primavera fueron exhibidos en la Fiesta Latinoamericana en Carnegie Hall el domingo 6 de mayo. Hubo muchos interesados y admiradores! Mil gracias a Kathy Gensure por las fotos y por todo su trabajo y liderazgo en este proyecto! La "gira" de los vejigantes y el carnaval continuará en el otoño, con posibles escalas en la escuela de Drama en CMU y la biblioteca pública Carnegie. Sigan pendientes, que anunciaremos estos eventos en los próximos meses.

The "vejigantes" created by the children during the Spring "Carnaval" workshop were exhibited at the "Fiesta Latinoamericana" in Carnegie Hall last Sunday, May 6. There were many admirers and expressions of interest! We are very grateful to Kathy Gensure for the pictures and all hher work and leadership in this project. The traveling exhibit of the vejigantes and the carnaval will continue in the Fall, with possible stops at the Drama School in CMU and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Stay tuned, as we will be announcing these events int he following months.
