Este semestre hemos decidido iniciar con un evento dirigido a conectar a l@s nuev@s estudiantes con la población hispana/latina de Pittsburgh. Están tod@s cordialmente invitad@s. Pueden encontrar más información abajo en este post.
We will be kicking off this semester with an event designed to connect new Hispanic/Latin@ undergraduate students with individuals, organizations, and businesses who serve our population in Pittsburgh. Everyone is invited! Please read below for more details.

Brief description: welcoming event for new Latino
students to feel their culture recognized on campus. Networking event to
connect community-based organizations serving the Latino population in
Pittsburgh with the campus community. Connecting faculty, students and programs
that serve Latinos with the larger Latino community. Family friendly event to
publicize the Círculo Juvenil de Cultura and link with students organizations
and students interested in volunteering in these programs.
Cultural events: dance lessons, music and bouncy for
children, tables with organizations that serve Latino community and shaved ice.
